Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 20, 2026
Southwest Style, Inc. and DesignStyle USA Inc. (collectively referred to as "we," "us," or "our") are committed to earning and retaining your trust. Protecting your privacy is a responsibility we take seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information gathered through our websites, mobile applications, email, telephone, text messaging, and other digital or in-person interactions.
This Privacy Policy does not govern the privacy practices of any third party, including financing partners, suppliers, or websites linked from our sites. By accessing or using our websites, mobile applications, or services, or by providing us with your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Who We Are
Southwest Style, Inc. is a home design and improvement services company based in Albuquerque, NM, serving clients across New Mexico and beyond. DesignStyle USA Inc. is an affiliated company operating in the design and style services space. Together, our websites and digital platforms allow us to offer products and services directly to consumers. Each company independently collects and holds consumer consent for its own communications, consistent with applicable federal one-to-one consent requirements.
We also work with affiliates, distributors, and suppliers who may manufacture, distribute, or install our products and services. If you provide personal information directly to those parties, their respective privacy policies apply.
Personal Information We Collect
For purposes of this Policy, 'personal information' means any information that identifies, relates to, or can be used to contact a particular individual. We collect personal information in the following categories:
• Contact Information — name, email address, mailing address, phone number.
• Account Information — username, password, account number, and related account data.
• Transaction Information — services purchased, payment history, and related transactional details.
• Payment Information — payment card or financial account details, processed through secure third-party payment processors.
• Marketing Preferences — information about promotions you have requested or received, and your communication preferences, including SMS opt-in consent.
• Communications — copies of messages, inquiries, or feedback you submit to us via email, phone, or web forms.
• Device and Usage Data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referring URLs, and session duration.
• Credit Application Data — if you apply for financing through a third-party partner, we may receive relevant credit application details.
How We Collect Information
• Directly from you — when you fill out forms, request a quote, purchase services, or contact us.
• Automatically — through cookies, web beacons, log files, and analytics tools when you interact with our websites or applications.
• From third parties — from affiliates, business partners, or social media platforms when you interact with their services in connection with ours.
Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience, analyze site usage, and serve relevant advertising. Cookies are small files stored by your browser that help us recognize your device and personalize your experience. By continuing to use our sites, you consent to our use of cookies.
We also use third-party analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to measure site performance. You may opt out of Google Analytics data collection by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You may manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings; however, disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use features of our websites.
We honor opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law, including as required for Colorado residents under the Colorado Privacy Act. If you use a browser or device that transmits a GPC signal, we will treat that signal as a valid opt-out request for the sale or sharing of your personal data to the extent required by law. Please note that we do not respond to legacy Do Not Track (DNT) signals, as no uniform standard for DNT has been adopted; the GPC mechanism is the recognized opt-out signal we support.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide, manage, and improve our products and services.
• Process transactions and send related communications such as order confirmations and appointment reminders.
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
• Send marketing and promotional communications where you have consented or where permitted by law.
• Personalize your experience on our websites and applications.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
• Conduct surveys, promotions, or prize drawings with your participation.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
• Service Providers — with trusted vendors who assist with payment processing, marketing, analytics, customer service, and similar functions, under confidentiality obligations.
• Affiliates and Subsidiaries — with affiliated companies within our corporate family for legitimate business purposes.
• SMS Platform Providers — with telecommunications carriers, SMS platform providers, and The Campaign Registry (TCR) solely for the purpose of registering and delivering A2P 10DLC text messages. SMS opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
• Legal Requirements — when required to comply with law, regulation, court orders, or legal process, or to protect our rights and property.
• Professional Advisors — with lawyers, accountants, and similar professionals who assist our business operations.
No mobile information (including SMS opt-in data and consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Any privacy policy that discloses the sharing or selling of SMS opt-in data for marketing purposes is noncompliant with carrier A2P 10DLC requirements, and we do not engage in such practices.
SMS Messaging and A2P 10DLC Compliance
We send business text messages (SMS/MMS) using Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging over 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone numbers registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR), as required by all major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Both Southwest Style, Inc. and DesignStyle USA Inc. independently maintain their own registered A2P 10DLC brands and campaigns.
To receive text messages from us, your wireless carrier must support A2P 10DLC messaging. Not all carriers support all message types. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-in consent is documented at the time of collection, including the date, time, IP address, and form identifier. This documentation is maintained as required for A2P 10DLC campaign compliance and for demonstrating prior express written consent under the TCPA.
Our A2P 10DLC registration includes the following use cases: appointment reminders, service updates, promotional marketing, and inquiry follow-up. Messages sent will align with our registered campaign use cases.
One-to-One Consent
Effective January 27, 2026, FCC rules require that each company obtain its own, direct, one-to-one consent from consumers before initiating marketing calls or text messages. Consent obtained for Southwest Style, Inc. applies only to communications from Southwest Style, Inc.. Consent obtained for DesignStyle USA Inc. applies only to communications from DesignStyle USA Inc.. We do not share, sell, or transfer consumer consent between companies, and we do not rely on consent obtained by third-party lead generators to contact you.
When you submit a contact form that identifies both companies, your consent is independently granted to each named company. You may opt out of communications from either company independently at any time.
Marketing Communications
We may send you promotional emails, texts, or calls about our products, services, and special offers where you have consented or where permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send. For SMS messages, reply STOP at any time. For calls, say STOP or request removal by any reasonable means — including verbally, by email, or by written request.
We will process all opt-out requests within 10 business days of receipt. When you opt out of one channel (e.g., text), your opt-out will be honored across all automated marketing channels for the same company, unless you specify otherwise. After opting out of marketing communications, you may still receive transactional or administrative communications such as appointment reminders, service updates, or warranty information.
AI-Generated Communications
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to assist in generating or personalizing voice calls, text messages, and emails. Under a February 2024 FCC Declaratory Ruling, AI-generated voice calls are classified as artificial or prerecorded voice calls and are subject to all applicable TCPA requirements, including the requirement for prior express written consent for marketing calls.
When you receive an AI-generated or AI-assisted voice call from us, a clear disclosure will be provided at the very beginning of the call — before any marketing content — identifying it as automated or AI-assisted. You will always have the option to connect with a live representative. AI-generated text messages will include a disclosure of AI involvement consistent with applicable FCC proposed rules.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained for a minimum of five years, or longer where required by applicable state law. When determining retention periods, we consider the type and sensitivity of data, our legal obligations, and whether the purposes can be achieved through other means.
Data Security
We maintain appropriate physical, administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet or storage environment can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Please notify us promptly if you suspect any security issue with your account or data.
